Since 1982, Clock Repair Haus has quietly stood as a trusted name in timepiece care in St. Joseph, Michigan. Founded and operated by Jerry Boyajian, this one-man shop is built on a lifelong passion for precision, craftsmanship, and the timeless beauty of clocks and watches.

Some of the best service I've ever had. I took a watch I'd had sitting in a dresser drawer for a few years in to have its battery changed. It only took a few minutes, and after it was completed, the service tech informed me of all the different features my watch had. There was a single dial that was immobile, and we couldn't figure out its function, but I thought nothing of it. I ended up giving my wife a call in the parking lot, and after afterwards, I noticed the time hadn't changed on the watch face. I brought it back inside and the technician took another look. He was able to test the battery, as well as the electronics inside the watch to prove they were both good, then tried a few troubleshooting steps for the mechanical guts. For whatever reason, the watch functioned perfectly as long as the back cover was off, but as soon as it was slotted on, the watch wouldn't keep its time. The technician put in its old battery, refunded my charge, and encouraged me to reach out to the manufacturer for a repair. Although it was unfortunate my watch is busted, the technician was incredibly knowledgeable and professional. I highly recommend service here, and will certainly be back-- well, if I ever have any more watch trouble, that is.

I came here looking for a watch that didn't use a traditional battery, wasn't too feminine, and would fit my small wrist. I didn't find quite what I was looking for, but I was able to try on several watches to see how different face sizes would look/feel on my wrist and received great advice about watch shopping. Very friendly. If and when my future watch needs serviced, I'll come back here. I also have my eye on the pocket watches in stock. So classy and would make a great addition to some cosplays.

Every repair is handled personally by me, the sole craftsman behind Clock Repair Haus. With over 40 years of experience, I take great pride in providing detailed, hands-on care to each timepiece that comes through my door.

Do you outsource any repairs?

No. All work is done in-house by me—from diagnosis to final polishing. As a one-man shop, I believe in maintaining full control over the quality and precision of every repair.

Can I speak directly with the person doing the repair?

Yes, you’ll always speak directly with me. Whether you have a quick question or need a detailed update, you're never passed around or put on hold—just honest, one-on-one communication.

Does being a one-man shop affect turnaround time?

Turnaround times may be slightly longer during busy seasons, but I never rush repairs. Quality and attention to detail take priority to ensure your timepiece is restored with the care it deserves.

Do you offer battery changes and band resizing?

Yes! I provide battery replacements for most watches, with pricing ranging from $15.85 to $30, depending on the watch type. I also offer band resizing—pricing varies based on the complexity of the project. As always, you’ll receive honest, upfront pricing and careful, professional work done by me personally.
